Viviani is starting to look ready for the Giro.
Impressive win.

But damn, the late crash didn't look good.

think he just sat up once passed not because he thought he had won, always eases up once beaten lead out left him a little early great sprints from behind.

Nah, leadout wasn't early, he started at 200m to go with a big lead, kept looking round rather than sprinting, made a small effort when Viviani got level then realised it was too late and sat down.

Leadout was probably not super fast given pettachi went for 400m, but he should have won very easily if he'd just looked ahead and sprinted hard.

Cav isn't used to having such a good leadout. He ****ed that up.

The Cav leadout wasn't that great, it's just that the Belkin guy on his wheel (Brown?) simply let go when he realized Bos was nowhere to be seen. Viviani had to close a gap, and still won.

Bos is really becoming a joke of a sprinter. The slightest mishap and he loses 20 positions.

I just noticed that Adam Phelan came 19th here- that's quite impressive considering that he was in the break for many days.
