I think Cav was in that final group too but just rode in at the back, obviously didn't have the legs as I spotted Tony Martin go to the back and talk to him then come up to the front and attack.

I hope Nibali is up for a challenge. He should already attack on the first climb 40k before the finish.

He could use it as preparation for Milan-Sanremo (where I think he plans to attack on the third last or penultimate climb) and the long time trial in the Tour.

If Cav or Kittel are still there for the sprint tomorrow,it would mean some teams did not do the homework. So yes, the stage should be for cannondale to control. But it will be also interesting to watch what strategy BMC will come with.

Well, dropping Kittel on the smallest hill can no longer be taken as certain, so it seems. From us fans' point of view that's only good, racing will again be little less predictable.
