Morabito quickly becoming one of my favourite riders if he keeps trolling these breaks...

Looks like we may have a group of 23 again: Herrada (Movistar Team), Arredondo (Trek), Quintero (Colombia), Cardoso (Garmin - Sharp), Morabito (BMC), Roche and Rovny (Tinkoff-Saxo), Cataldo, Deignan and Siutsou (Sky), Moser (Cannondale), Geniez (FDJ), Bongiono, Colbrelli and Zardini (Bardiani-CSF), Bono (Lampre-Merida), Pauwels (Omega), Finetto (Neri Sottoli), Malacarne, Thurau and Quemeneur (Europcar), Gusev (Katusha), Geschke (Giant-Shimano). Now just to get some confirmation on that.... and a gap.....

from cyclingnews, Morabito well on his way to becomming one of your favorites now :)

Cyclingnews says BMC is chasing too, can that be right ? Why chase if Morabito is in the break ?

Official ticker says so but i guess they meant that BMC and Movistar are on the front of peleton. BMC wont chase Morabito for sure.

The official ticker now shows a group with Moser, Vorganov, Moreno and some others. No Morabito

Ok, looks like the breakway of the day have gone:

Bongiorno, Moser, Mourey, Polanc, Monsalve, Quemeneur, Sicard, Thurau, Preidler, Moreno, Vorganov, Deignan, Roche & Rovny

A few of the riders are only 5 minutes or less off the lead in that break, Morabito is best placed. I guess BMC is hedging their bets??

Yeah, but it would make absolutely no harm to them if Morabito is gaining a few minutes on others. Not like there's any more dangerous rider for Evans in the break.

It would liven the Giro up if BMC let him go.
