again this isn't working. every year giro coverage gets worse and worse.
Well, it's working but the last update is more than a half hour ago I think.

Unbelievable for a Grand Tour.

the graphic up there is for tomorrow though
It's hotlinked from the site, so it has changed since he posted it, and the image will change again. When he posted it, it showed the weather for today (with rain).

Whatever TDF does, the Giro will do in a more dramatic but ultimately more chaotic manner with often disorganised outcomes. It is a reflection of the national psyche. The coverage including an accurate ticker is no exception to this rule.

flens final time is 40.7 km'h average over the entire 42 km
The Vuelta ITT last year (38.8km) was 45.6 km/h (start and finish same altitude), so today should favour the climbers even more. Ofc unless the best ride more than 6 minutes faster than Flens, but I doubt that.

He wont have slept and will be weak from the heavy fall. These guys are tough but he should be in a hospital.

So true a brutal crash. Shame for him as a real chance of the win today.

I think it's mostly because of wet and more technical descents. I don't think the wind has a big impact.

So, Gretsch nowhere in the 2nd intermediate but by far the fastest at the finish.

Something tells me the Giro site is ****ed again.
Gretsch was good at the 1st intermediate tho
