Very good ride by Cadel, but Uran was fantastic.

Excellent Giro with lot more to come.

Don't count Cadel out as all pressure is now on Uran!

Uran killed it, but I would not write Nairo off yet. He is a beast in the mountains. And with such a tough 3rd week, anything can happen.

Grande Rigoberto was just amazing. I was expecting him winning after that incredible performance in Romandie TT, but this was just fantastic. If Quintana won't win the GC I will be glad for Uran.

PS: It seems that if you combine Sky and Omega training this is what you get!

If quintana can recover quick from his hip injury and cold, we could be in treat to a great long range attack, he has to try something now.

Do you really think he's going to recover in a couple of days?

HotSteppers....

Congrats to Uran, but Majka also doing well.

Evans went out too slow imo.

And what about Ulissi? Surely he can win another stage somewhere.

Quintana continues his mediocre form (ex San Luis).

Yeah Quintana isn't going to win this Giro it seems.

too early to say
he's still in touching distance to catch up in the mountains

Evans hoped to put time into Quintana and Pozzovivo today and achieved it. didnt expect time on Uran anyway, but he had an even better day than anyone expected

hope he'll at least go long range once or twice. no other way.

probably lacks the form, though.

It's set up for a fantastic last week with positions in the top ten really close. Pozzovivo and Quintana are going to have to go all out at some point and Majka is sat nicely for me. Regardless of a good ride from Cadel he will falter and finish 5th at best.

Evans actually had a good day
Uran had a great one

the eurosports commentary was a little misleading

Evan is a sneaky old dog. Looked poor for most of the day, but timed his effort cleverly.

Uran was simply a monster today.

3rd for Evans...Uran was just superb.

That's a bit of a relief for Evans after the shock of the early sectors. I suppose it's a positive BMC won't have the burdon of the maglia rosa now. Also that Cadel recovered for the last sector suggests his condition is still good - just nowhere near Uran.

just what do u guys expect from him??! this was a fairly hilly ITT. u expect him to smash it??! he's a guy for the high high mountains where his high altitude upbringing comes into effect. thats his big weapon. next thing you'll be expecting him to compete in sprints with kittel
