The last 30km of stage 7 are going to be a right killer.

I like the route overall.

Only 10km off TT, Quintana should be all over this one.

Long time since Dauphine had a good looking parcours, still some things that could be better but overall good. I very much like the col du Beal finish the second day, not the hardest climb but should be good to see some action.

I don't know, 2 short half mountains like that is maybe a better setting for a final stage than another mtf where everyone waits for final 2k.

Such stages usually suck because everyone will be saving themselves for later. No such problem here, and if there is a gc battle they may need to attack from further out. And with no bonus seconds this stage can offer both ala gap and pinerello 2011
