Is it just me, or is Astana just riding at the front. They don't really seem to be pushing it?

Correct. They're not riding to kill Contador but to let Kwiatkowski not go too far.

Sad that it comes in this way but with so many guys crashing and losing time, Kwiatkowski could really end up in the Top 10.

They're a riding decent tempo but you really can't blame them for doing that at all.

How the **** did he lose 4 minutes??? You crash, you're down for 30 -40 seconds maybe. Even people who were too injured to continue the Tour have usually got back up quicker than that.

Then what happens the next 3 minutes. He just stood there?

This tweet from Matt Keenan explains part of it I guess:

"I feel for Contador but how does a rear brake on a bike fresh off the roof of the car need adjusting? #TDF #professionalfoul"

Honestly there are still 90k to go.

Astana could easily wait for Contador a give us a chance at a good Tour.

Contador looks out :(

Astana has to drill, otherwise Kiwi will get too much time:eek:

91 Km's left still. They don't need to ride hard now. Just maintain the gap to Kwiat at most.

Why? So Kiwi can win the tour?

People are complaining about Astana riding, but how long should they wait? They did wait for a good two minutes.

Wouldn't it be benficial for Astana to have Kwia take yellow? He's hardly a GC threat

Not a huge threat, but you can't just let the dude ride off into the sunset, so to speak.

Who the f*ck is Matt Keenan?
And how many bike races has he seen in life? The rear brake adjustement is almost a tradition, everybody does that.
