Climbing said:Nibali with the highest VAM ever at the Tour...
Parrulo said:Awful performance from Costa and Mollema they won't even top 10 at this rate which is really embarrassing considering the amount of people who crashed out of contention
Escarabajo said:Yes, really. He now follow wheels 100% of the time. Don't even try to do anything different.
jaylew said:Not true. He's had a few wins this year from attacks.
DirtyWorks said:Two weeks to go. That's a long time.
Look at it from a different angle, Nibali is expending great effort in the first week and perhaps some of the GC contenders are expending a bit less. The great efforts should, in theory, catch up to him later on and perhaps another GC contender will have something in reserve.
Pricey_sky said:I agree especially Mollema after his good Tour last year.

A final moan for Valverde! What on earth is this guy on? Just sit there at the back of the chasers and let Nibali ride away. Does he not even want to win this race? As usual he sprint past most of them in the final metres to make himself look great, I honestly hope he doesn't even make the podium!
Kwibus said:Vandenbroeck says it's Contadors own fault he crashed.
He doesn't understand that Contador wanted to pass him at that point in the descent.

In dutch.
From what I was expecting from Costa, I think he did good.Parrulo said:Awful performance from Costa and Mollema they won't even top 10 at this rate which is really embarrassing considering the amount of people who crashed out of contention
Frosty said:Just updated - Machado and Schillinger missed the time limit.

I would not put too much stock on those numbers. It was very short climb. And the time that Nibali was climbing away was even shorter. So expect high numbers anyway.maxmartin said:link? Data? too bad can't see him beating AC.

deValtos said:JCP getting better every year, looking good with the 54km TT at the end of the tour.
Frosty said:Machado and Schillinger are now in the official results at +43.06, and not in the withdrawals, so maybe the judges decided to be lenient.
