It's going to be Demare to complete the miracle of the Young French Riders™.

I question whether Demare is healthy enough or has good enough bike handling skills to do well. I have noticed if Demare gets caught in traffic or boxed in he tends to give up and is not good at getting himself out. He is a rider that really needs a lot of room and good position as he does have the power to contend with Kittel and friends. Todays final tends to suit a power rider like Demare as normally its quite strung out when they turn the final bend. If he is positioned well on Kittel's wheel he could get top 3. But everyone will be fighting for that wheel. I am not sure he is a good enough bike handler to fight off other riders to get good enough position going into that final right hand turn. I would favor Bennati over Demare today. I would also favor riders like Dumolin, Albasini, Feillu as having a better chance of a 10-15 finish today than Demare. Although if Demare lacks in consistency he has much better upside and chance of a top 3 finish.

If there was any justice in the world, Jens would win today from a breakaway :D

Not at all. The over-the-hill loud speaker gets enough attention... Zubeldia would be nice (I know not going to happen, but he should get some air time).

quiet on here, hopefully the womans race is here to stay, liking idea of maybe a stage 20 itt in paris itself to match 89 and the classic lemond moment maybe something for 2019 to consider.

Sagan seems to be at the back of peloton. Did he have some problem?

EDIT: And also Kittel is now behind the main field.
