If he's alone, car drafting is allowed, as a team the cars would go out of the way.

I take it the argument against Kittel is that he's still recovering from the Mountains stages and the likes of Kristoff, Sagan and Greipel might be in the better shape.

The reality is last year he won this stage directly after 3 days in the Alps. He's had two days to recover this year. I see no reason he's wont win bar a crash.
