I'm just reading here, but it seems to be that his old wounds opened up again and on top of that he injured his wrist. But no guarantee, cause I am not watching the stage atm.

Thanks i just switched on and they have not shown CF yet. Would you lot say the wrist long term is an injury that will not affect him much? Did anyone else see the crash, whose fault was it?

Hard to say, but for now the short term is much mor important, since cobbles and a bad wrist is a bad combo

lol at people making it like their gutted alot who commented would much rather a easy AC victory. Can not believe he as crashed again i wont be watching if he is out, the TDF will be a bore. Unless Contador does to Nibali what Froome done to Alberto last year.

Wait, if he's out you won't watch because you don't want a dominant AC victory, but you would be okay with a dominant AC victory if he crushes Nibali?

Contador's and Sagan's...Contador rode up besides Froome and stuck a branch he collected earlier to his front wheel. Froome saw it coming, immediately began to wheelie at 60kph, which led Sagan to become jealous at Froome for outshining him regarding bike handling. So he punched Froome and he fell. End of story.

Contador should go for it tommorow what do you think?

It's the cobbles. He won't attack. It's more about whether Froome will be able to stay with Alberto's group. Leaving Wiggo at home may come back to hurt Sky. He could've shepherded Froome tomorrow and kept a high enough GC spot to be marked.

Tis true......;)

No i would like see a crushing like last year as it is beautiful to watch but Contador beating Nibali by 2 minutes would not be intersting to me. If he is dominant i will enjoy as i don't mind someone crsuhing the mountains. But trust me who the hell crashed into him they should be chucked off the TDF.

This doesn't look too bad to me.
Hopefully the wrist will be fine.
Awaiting scan report etc.

Indeed, I take the picture as good news. But ofcourse he will be sore tomorrow. Hopefully it will be all ok when we get to stage 8

Dude it should not be hard with this gap to the end, you just get guys who are so nervous. Orica should be at back at all times on a stage like this their irrelevant:rolleyes:.

Doesn't look too bad superficially, but knowing how badly the strapped up right wrist is is pretty impossible at this point, and that's what will really take a beating tomorrow.
