Was it the same side hje hurt in DL?

Yes. Same hip and looks like more damage than the last fall (at least on his hip). I suspect he'll claim that his quad is blocked again (what he claimed in the DL).

Awesome so we have a boring stage anyway and now Froome has an ouchie. Trying to decide between reading the race thread or banging my head against a wall.

Glad to see Europcar finally got into a break.

And Froome went down? What happened!?

Seemed like an Orica rider swerved to avoid his teammate and wiped Froome's front wheel out. It took lots of skin off his leg again that probably wasn't properly healed from Dauphine weeks ago (apparently his injuries there were an 'excuse') he also looked like he was holding his wrist too and is now bandaged up.

No i would like see a crushing like last year as it is beautiful to watch but Contador beating Nibali by 2 minutes would not be intersting to me. If he is dominant i will enjoy as i don't mind someone crsuhing the mountains. But trust me who the hell crashed into him they should be chucked off the TDF.

I hope Froome doesn't go out like this but I would love to see Contador completely and utterly destroying Nibali. It brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it. I'd savour every moment of it.
As you can tell I'm not exactly a Nibali fan.

In my opinion Froome is done for this Tour, the injury looks almost the same with Dauphine,so they emergency plan Richie will get the chance to show his worth earlier than expected.Of course i'll be more than happy that this will prove just a pessimist thought.

Well I'm definitely hoping Froome is well enough to compete at a very high level....I want to see an inform AC and Froomie dish it out later....it seems hard getting two big rivals both at their best.

But you're not a Contador fan either

This is where Brailsfraud starts thinking "Sh!t, why didnt I pick Bradley?"

Of course, Richie will come through and smash everyone given his amazing form all season

Good point, I think on the inside, Richie is already smiling. He said before the Tour that he hopes getting a chance for himself. Also when he was with Saxo, he was always quick jumping of the loyalty train and claiming leadership. Will be interesting to see how this plays out. I'm expecting Porte to give comments in this direction after the stage.

Sorry for the constant posting about Froome but isit me or does that pic look a good sign? To me atleast that does not look bad atall.

*ahem* Lol. ;)

In other news, responding to these Lemond ads: I can't stand listening to him. I've always been a fan of his, but his commentary seems... shaky, at best. Maybe I've just never given him a fair chance because he starts off slowly and builds to some impressive climax.

But I doubt it.

I think I'm seeing the pattern - So basically Sky wins the tour with a certain rider, then injures that rider the second year, and raises up the next star....maybe after Porte there will be that French rider Brailsford was talking about. :)

once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, third time is enemy action.

Coquard is showing promise as a future GT winner.

Dude it should not be hard with this gap to the end, you just get guys who are so nervous. Orica should be at back at all times on a stage like this their irrelevant:rolleyes:.

Blame Prudhomme. He's one of the reasons the 1st week is a bundle of nerves as much as any of the riders.
