I'm giving you a well hidden gem. Špilak to win at least one stage. Although he is gonna lose 30min in other stages he won't try to win. Same can be said fot Purito though he doesn't look to be ready just yet, so tomorrow is still early for him imo.

Anyway, Nibali to not lose time to Contador.

Thanks, but I already have Spilak! :)

Even if he will be more than 10mins down tomorrow, breakaway is not a good idea.Nobody will want to ride with him,he so freakin good that he will climb that 1cat climb with his break-mates and thats why they won't ride with him.Best thing he can do is save his teammates today and then Cannondale to cotrol whole stage tomorrow imo;)

with all the respect for cannondale, they will never be able to control the tomorrow's stage, if it were left for them, then the break would get 10minutes and more. If sagan stays in the peloton, he will be the only cannondale rider there after the cat1 climb, that's for sure, maybe de marchi too, but that's it.

Nibali does have a history of bonking a little in the final kilometer at times. But is that the Nibali of this year? He also does quite well in the first week and quite well on hills so we'll see.

It was the Nibali of Dauphine.

I think it depends on the pace,GC and sprinter teams won't ride hard pace on that 1cat ,so it depends how Cannondale will control the break. If the breakaway has more than 6 riders then its mission impossible:(
Yea,there is a problem with last 30km orso, there will be only De Marchi and maybe Marcato:eek:,its very hard to achieve something from peloton or breakaway for him.

I don't know if Contador will attack today, he might wait for monday.

I'm thinking the same myself... I think he might stretch the legs just to size up his form for tomorrow and will only explode if Nibali is struggling on the climb. Contador isn't stupid, he always has a plan and normally it's always the right one.

Purito has been hanging in the back for a week now. I don't think he's great. I think he'll try to get in the breakaway, cause I don't think any team is going to chase, unless Contador really wants to try and take the stage.

Why would he be at the front the past week? He isn't going for GC, so it would be stupid and dangerous to be at the front. Just look at the amount of riders who fell or are out with something broken.

It could well be he isn't at his best yet, but constantly hanging at the back is not a sign.

Time for Giro d'Italia mode Rolland to make things happen again!

Yeh, he would be a good pick but after yesterday I think they'll be very careful with exposing Talansky.

Yeah, I think he'll wait. Contador tends to downplay his chances, but when he says he won't go for it, most of the time he doesn't go for it.:)

We'll have to see who else goes, Contador might not attack but he could follow and if Nibali cannot well there's a few seconds. I really, really, really hope valverde attacks so we know he might actually you know race this TdF. If he attacks and Contadors follows on the last climb, 5-10 seconds into Nibali and Contador might gap a few others. Contador in 16th place of GC just aint right.

Thing is on Monday the deficit will be 4 minutes

He'll lose another minute and a half today? If that's the case attacking will only limit his losses to maybe a minute and 15s:rolleyes:

Don't worry, he'll be top 10 after Monday's stage:)

Hey my point is "Don't put off until tomorrow, what you can do today".

Why waste energy to get 2 seconds today when that energy can gain him 10 seconds on Monday? :)

Supposed to be a head wind, that will limit attacks. So unless the break stays away which isn't likely it will come down to the last short, steep climb and that says Valverde to me. Go Alejandro!

I've never understood that saying. In my opinion "Don't do today what you can put off until tomorrow" makes more sense.
