So you think the only excitement in the first two weeks were GC riders crashing out. Sounds like great race

I remember nice stages to Saint-Flour, Super Besse and Luz Ardiden. But yeah, we all know the Tour starts with a bunch of flat stages. Every GT has flat, uninteresting stages.

The first two weeks of the Giro 2011 were also quite boring. Fiuggi Terme, Tropea, Castelfidardo and Grossglocknor were so-so. The stages to Teramo, Montevergine, Parma were horrible to watch. Ony the stages to Orvieto and Etna were nice.

That to conclude with some boring dominant perfomances from a certain Spaniard, a mountain TT, some random semi-mountain stages where nothing happened, a good Val di Fassa stage, a average Zoncolan and a TT to conclude it. Well, how good is that!

Did you just compare the first two weeks of the 2011 Giro with the two first weeks of the 2011 Tour?!

No, i'm saying the first two weeks of the Giro were not as good as you saying, if you look objectively to it. I'm not preffering crashes, but the hectic and the pressure of the Tour makes it sometimes just as intense and nice to watch comparing the Giro.

But now you're talking about the first two weeks, while you have to look at the whole Tour. The third week, well, better cycling you don't get.

And you don't have to put some ridiculous smileys at the end of your post. It doesn't make you more intelligent.

No. Racing is always >>> Crashes.

You were the one comparing the first two weeks, not me.

Were was the racing in the first two weeks in the Giro? Attacking on the final climb you mean?? Well, that happened also on Luz Ardiden. You're right (i'm already anticipate;)) , only 3 k from the finish, but Contador attacked 6 ko to go on the Etna.

You were first talking about ''the boring'' first two weeks, not me. The third week of that Tour was better then the whole Giro 2011.

this went a little of the topic of Oman didn't it. A sprint to finish it Greipel is not prefect but 3 laps gives the teams time to get organised.

By the way Froome looks quite ponderously now. Ultra light gearing is still in store for Tour de France

There were just ten guys left with four Sky riders (Lopez, Nieve, Henao and Froome) leading the group with 3km left on Green Mountain.

Almost a Joux-Plane 2012 performance!

Will Uran try to pinch second place off Teejay today? Will Froome miss a move or split in the peleton?

Uran seemed to be struggling a lot. Don't know if Tejay were strong or Uran weak...

For me TJVG was very strong. A few more kms and he would have taken some secs back. Looked much better on the bike at business end (not talking styles here).
