Great win by Contador i did not expect it either, 2 good wins by the main men today. Wiining a stage like this is good very good i wonder how he will go on a MTF though vs Froome, but even this win is something as it was unexpected for me i dint think he had it anymore.

From what is being posted on a portuguese forum it went pretty much like this:

Contador attacks and Kwia follows.

Kwia bonks and gets passed by Costa who has been going at his own pace

Contador and to certain degree Costa get a big advantage on Kwia up to the last 500 or so meters when Kwia was able to regroup and do a ballistic last 500m and regain a lot of his lost time.

Edgar Pinto really should be on a team that could send him to better races, it's his first race of the season and hasn't raced since the Volta last summer. Finished 7th today and in the top 10 overall.
