Again, would have really liked to see the action today. Kwia a bit stronger than expected for me, but we might be looking at something very special here. Only time will tell.

Stage 4:

Parcours highly raceable. If it ends in a uphill sprint, the riders are to blame imo.

It's almost unfair how much of an all rounded talent Kwiatkowski is. No wonder Lefevere refused to hand him over in the Cavendish negotiations.

imo if Kwiatkowski keep improving his climbing in the coming 2 or 3 years, he will be a serious contender for tour, as his TT is quite awesome already, maybe only Froome or just very littel few guys can beat him in some stage races with TT

And OPQS is **** strong!

kwiatkowksi can't handle long climbs. and he will never learn that either. you have that or you don't. these aren't the days of di luca anymore.

well Froome was a bit of a donkey until recently. Kwia can easily improve on the long climbs in the coming years.

porte never showed he couldn';t handle long climbs. he was actually weaker in shorter climbs. he just improved his climbing a lot. bue he was always a long distance climber, itt rider. kwiat is also better in shorter itt's compared to very long ones. he is explosive rider and build like cavendisha nd he's not from colombia. so no he's no betancurt who's build like a climber but is great in long climbs

If we're using Froome as a yardstick for potential Tour winners we're gonna have a pretty long list.

Anyway, Kwiatkowski had a solid first Tour last year. Maybe Lefevre will let him off leadout duties and let him save some energy in the first week (fat chance).

yep, just refuting the implied "era" argument.

what kind of stupid comparison is that. how many froome's have we had in past 10 years? although in froome's defense still he was always a long distance climber.

Froome demonstrated exactly nothing in his early career. Unless you rate club races in Africa of course.

Like I said Kwia can easily become a solid GT/GC rider.

Lol, here is a serious performance form Kwia which you can try and decipher.

Tdf Ventoux stage '13. Aged 22, Kwia delivered this:

18 KWIATKOWSKI Michal Omega Pharma - Quick-Step 3:14

So yea, I think Kwia can get much better, also on longer climbs of course.

Anyway last post from me on the subject.

Nicki said Saxo are going to fight for the overall win :)

Hopefully they will but I've heard stuff like this before.

Plot twist: Majka attacks with 50k to go and wins by 3 minutes :)

It'd be smarter to attack with 44km to go.
