If Froome doesnt attack u call him boring. If he attacks and fails u call him naive and half-asssed. If he attacks and wins u say he's on drugs.

this so much

Can't believe I wasted 2 hours watching that when the last 2 minutes would have been ok. Good win by Purito but he was always gonna win that. Hopefully tomorrow goes ahead as that tougher final climb might provide us with some action. Very little to take out of that today really.

i think.. now everyone is smart. No silly attack, and just put their money on one basket.. sprint to the finish line. Froome tried to attack first. He paid for it. Purito timed it right. Contador seemed to be happy to follow whoever attacks first. Purito won, contador second and Quintana is third. Looks like today is the day for survival.

well done purito.

Think that was pretty foolish tactically from Froome. He looked at Purito as if to say 'take a turn' and that was that...

Chapeau to Purito but I guess as expected.

i think it was a pretty good finale. purito's kick is absolutely brutal.
contador strong too.
news about weather for tomorrow? i think froomey will find it more appealing but i don't see alberto getting dropped.

Well said Red rick, Froome always will attack that is why people adore Contador look at his agressive style. Sure Froome has not done a Tirron 14 ride by Contador or Fuente De but he does not need to what did he do today he attacked(silly in heindsight) and just cracked that looks just like La Vuelta, even on a finish today tells us were he is he wont be winning tommorow even though it suits him good. Froome should ride Cri Int get some shap before Romandie(Froome will destroy all their)

Don't get me wrong, I'd never call Froome boring, etc, but he is still incredibly naive (in a strangely endearing way) and it was just like the start of Vuelta 12 - first time off the leash and he didn't seem to know his own strength in the first week and he even tried leading out Swifty one day.

It's only March and Catalunya. Just cover Contador, get on the bus, and wait for another day.

Hey leave Horner alone. Do you have any idea how hard it is to get beetroot juice in Catalunya? The man had to squeeze his own. No wonder he was a bit tired.
