This was far more egregious than what Degenkolb did to him a few days ago, and he had a fit about it. As mentioned before Matthews might have taken this without that move.

And if Matthews hadn't held up I think there was about a 50% chance of a crash, I'm not an official so I don't know if he should be DQ'ed but it sure as hell needs an investigation.

Not many would otherwise care about flat stages (outside the bettors). :D

Either way, it was a good stage with the wind splits.
 
what a d**k Bouhanni is...at first hes angry about Degenkolb's sprint and now he does this...compared to john's sprint this was a lot worse move and it completely stopped Matthews...it would be really close

No he just forced him to stop riding and focus on controlling his bike so he didn't crash, that's not exactly classy riding.
