This was far more egregious than what Degenkolb did to him a few days ago, and he had a fit about it. As mentioned before Matthews might have taken this without that move.

And if Matthews hadn't held up I think there was about a 50% chance of a crash, I'm not an official so I don't know if he should be DQ'ed but it sure as hell needs an investigation.

Me too I think I picked him in the GGTG! :D

That´s what it is about... ;)
Not many would otherwise care about flat stages (outside the bettors). :D

Either way, it was a good stage with the wind splits.

Bouhanni moving just slightly into Matthews line in the final of the sprint there.

Matthews had to back out of it completely, it looked like he might have won it if Bouhanni had stayed on his line and not veered left.

How far from the line did Nacer open up?

About a full race line, in about 10-20 bike lengths he move as far to his left as Matthews had to pass him.

That last manouver by Bouhani looked intentional in slowmo.

Yeah he moved over. He still would have won straight on, but considering the complaining he's done, then he does that. If roles reversed, he would be whining.

what a d**k Bouhanni is...at first hes angry about Degenkolb's sprint and now he does this...compared to john's sprint this was a lot worse move and it completely stopped Matthews...it would be really close

No way Matthews would have won. Bouhanni went slightly to the left , he didn't force him into the barrier.

No he just forced him to stop riding and focus on controlling his bike so he didn't crash, that's not exactly classy riding.

I asked how far from the line he started his sprint.

If Cav's headbut (?) episode in last year's Tour wasn't worth a DQ'on, I don't see why this would. Unless you mean the win striped from him and put him as last in his group.
