AC is 8th in CQ between purito and quintana.

Is winning a vuelta that prestigious? Mean mean Horner did it last year and barely got signed to a WT team after.

Horner was 40+ at the time. You don't think that had anything to do with it?

It's a bit of a shame it seems we are not going to have our really awesome grand tour. The mountains will still be interesting but it is hard to see Contador not winning if he stays on his bike. I'm not surprised that Froome did poorly. The way he got dropped on stag 9 and could make no reaction showed he wasn't 100%.

He went off at a pace that he was able to do when he was in top shape (ie near Tony Martin performance shape) unfortunately he is nowhere near that level of form so he quickly paid for his efforts.
I think we found out who was bluffing. Getting bonus points anyway he could was the red alarm for few of us, for others was "smart racing".

Contador's team sucks, if Movistar launch an attack with Valverde and Quintana on stage 16 they could easily beat Contador (see 2014 Dauphiné)

Why would Movistar get into some complicated **** and launch an attack for first when they can fight for 2nd and 3rd:rolleyes:

As expected Froome loses time. I don't know why people thought he would somehow win the tt today or something. Its the race of truth and Froome is no tt specialist. He won tts back when he was destroying everyone at everything. He won tts because he had so much more power than everyone else.

Same as Contador. Same with Evans and plenty of other gt specialists who did well in tts. When you see the mountain form isnt there the tt form wont be there either.

Contador is merely on slightly better form than Froome right now so he will perform better in tts and perform better in mountains. Contador isn't top form either though because if he was he would have taken time on Sunday and come very close to Martin today.

One of your favourite riders, Cadel Evans :) did well last night, finishing 6th on the stage. Not bad for an old campainer

Samu beats Froome!!

Definitely didn't see that coming, as least Evan used to be able to TT well.

Samu has performed quite well in TTs in the past as well. I remember him winning a Vuelta TT once.

Bluffing? I don't think so. If you'd even have listened to any of his interviews he would be the first to admit he doesn't know where his form is and is just taking it one day at a time. Bluffing would indicate he had told everyone he is in top shape and confident of winning (like before last years Tour). He didn't this time, I'm not sure what your interpretation of bluffing is but it's a million miles from the truth! :D

An exciting stage with drama, but the day belongs to Panzerwagen.

The result setups the race rather nicely imo. Now we just need the riders to respond with aggressive racing, tactics and risk taking.

Forget all the top 10 placement stuff and go for a win please.

You need to read between the lines. I don't pay attention to what they say, I pay attention to what they do, their body language.

Here's your bluff :D

Cancellara given a 7 second penalty for complaining.
That's just awesome. I hope those penalties turn into a thing to stop all the whining and complaining

Team DS are bigger liars than the riders themselves. I'd rather listen to what Froome says that Dave Brailsford. I don't think Froome has ever said he would win this Vuelta.

No Rider, I mean Not a One have said they will win this Vuelta. No One even accepted being the favorite to win :).
