Will we see, at some point of the race today, Sky still lining up and drilling up in front? It doesn't even have to be any reason to it, maybe bluffing, or maybe just automatic timer that's still on despite some malfunction to the machine as a whole, it's still a familiar sight this season, like it's 2012/2013, I almost looked for Euskaltel sometimes.

You realle dislike Contador, dont you?

De Fuente was one of the greatest victories I have ever seen. I also have loads of respect for Andy Schlecks epic victory on Galibier, eventhough I am not a fan of him (it was the same say my youngest boy was born btw - was watching on and off at the hospital).

Some times those epic wins makes you forget anything about whether or not its a guy you normally root for. Thats one of the most beautiful things about cycling for me.

Anyways, will be interesting to see how this unfolds. Wether TS lets a break go or not.

I'm not a Contador fan of course,but i will never deny that he's the greatest cyclist in the current peloton.Still for me Fuente De doesn't have nothing magic in it,it was just Katusha and Purito stupidity exploited to the max by a smart cyclist like Contador.Contador has a lot of great wins during his career but for me Fuente De and TDF 2007 win are not among them.
P.S. Not that i hate Contador,but is hard to root for him given that Valverde and Purito are on my favorites list along with Froome

Yeah that's probably true but I believe that he can limit his losses if the injuries are not too severe

It wasnt particularly stupidity. They were simply worn out and the whole Saxo team made the most to tire them further and exploit it (but sending reiders out front before Contador attacked). You can always claim you bolded part every time a rider and a team makes a gutsy more from the distance risking it all trying to explot the weakness (og create a weakness) of the leading team. Moves like that are epic imo (but you are ofcourse entitle to view it differently). Same goes for Talanskys move against a weak Saxo team in Dauphine. Classy and gutsy

The thing was: Purito was beating/equaling Contador on his own ground the mountains - Contador moved territory and invented his own quasi-TT to win. It was inventive and v.risky and he did it!
- kinda like a knight of old.
I felt sorry for Purito at the same time.

I don't see how it was risky at all - there was very little to lose at that point - surely his podium place was pretty secure even if he'd ended up losing a minute instead of gaining time

It was risky because he was not 100% race fit and he could easily have borked in the last 10k
(AC admitted that he was over his limit in the final kms that day - running on empty)
- losing a duel to Purito in such a way would have being a massive red-face in Spain - instead he got ... a Red Jersey.
Losing it to Froome later in TdF was terrible - but that was far away in France.
