Quintana to work all the climb for Valverde then Purito attacks from to far out and Quintana can follow while Valverde can't and then Quintana rides away in the end and takes the stage. :)

Can't see that for two reasons, firstly it is highly unlikely other teams will let him go and he will probably need a few easier days to recover from his crash

exactly, not gonna happen for both reasons

I did say bold!!!

Okay I know its not going to happen but one can dream.
Only the timing is bold in your prediction. The move should certainly happen since is the only Movistar's chance.
Quintana in the front, Tinkoff under pressure, Valverde with Contador. That's the plot.
If nothing drastic happens in the meantime - Monday is the day.

Can't see anything other than Contador going for the kill here, with Froome and Quintana both surely flagging. Break 10 minutes up the road, pretty sure movistar won't be drilling it after Nairo's crash. Katusha might though. TST... I'm not sure they could if they wanted to.

Rodriguez a good man for this one.

I think he's enjoying the fact that the conversation is all about Froome, Quintana, and Contador right now. He's looked good so far in this race, and that TT today was an excellent ride for him.

Aru is flying under the radar in the race too. Expecting to see him try something tomorrow.

I can assure you this:

Quintana will not wait for anyone to attack first. As soon as the San Miguel de Aralar starts, he will attack- and the rest will suffer his wrath.......

Tomorrow is going to be awesome- mark my words:)

However, he may be under team orders to do what Valverde wants. This may be to attack at the base of the final climb as you said. But if Nairo goes there, it is on Valverde's command rather than Nairo's desire to get back in the GC race.

Looking at the crash though, I can't see him getting away with it relatively unscathed. I think there will be considerable pain today. He may not be able to launch any kind of attack whatever the reason for doing so.

Aru didn't have it on the previous MTF, so I don't know about that.

Purito - top favorite for second place now along with Valverde, and maybe a stage win, but I don't think he's particularly excited about that. I think he went too far in the red in the Tour also. Let's see if he can drop Contador on any of the remaining MTFs. I'm skeptical.

Quintana will put the hammer down early on the last climb, AC will have to respond with Valverde, Uran and Purito on his wheels. Shall see what comes next...

Froome is done I think. He rode extremly average yesterday, he's out of gas to make a serious move.

Break will take this stage, no idea about GC results, really.

De Marchi FTW. (or some climber from the break)

The GC battle is going to be interesting. Everyone has an incentive to not work, hence someone other than tinkof-saxo will do the work for most of the (failed) chase.

Quintana's best chance to regain lost time is actually today: the day that others wont expect him to do an early attack. (depends on injury though.)

AC will just ride third wheel to whoever is pulling the select group.
Dont expect winner to get any support today, though he will definitely try launching before that steep part.

If the break was caught: Contador FTW.(or loses to purito on a sprint)

Agree. Stages 16 and 20 should be the ones for this. He needs to get in the right early break with representatives from plenty of other teams to force Tinkoff to chase by alone. Garmin could be good allies.

This Vuelta is far from over.

I can see Purito and AC in front of a group of other GC boys who get scattered down the climb. Froome,Valverde and Nairobi to lose 45 seconds plus today. I think Purito will take the finish ahead of Alberto but probably behind a breakaway. I'm hoping Aru does good today.
