I pety lotto for even spending one penny on Vanendert. What a waste of talent.

Waste of talent? I think this is his level. Grupetto. I do think he took a paycut this year.

Frank really should practice his TT at any given opportunity.

Fränk Schleck skipps the time trial in Pais Vasco today because of an acute sinusitis and conjunctivitis. Classics are not in risk.

Should be good.

Looks to me me like a nice fight between TJ, Peraud and Kwiatkowski for the podium.

Kwiatkowski for 3rd on the stage and 3rd GC.

I think his performance rose with Gilbert's in '11. This is closer to home. Just my opinion.

His early years were very promising, then got held back by some serious injuries. And although 2011 was probably a one-off, I'd say he is still a lot better than this.

Not that I think the case will be the same this year, but in 2012, he DNF'ed PV (and sucked on the stages he rode) and still went on to a great Ardennes-campaign.

I think Valverde will beat Contador today.

I'm leaning this way. I think AC is pretty tired (he's at the end of a long block of racing) at this point.
