Thx for the stream but why the **** is this not to be found on my telly.

Eurosport is showing some stupid sport where people drive around in a cirkel.

Whats the point of showing 5 days of cycling only to skip the climax.

Are Eurosport Tantrics? Will they skip every final finish until that race in China noone cares about?

Ion Izagirre destroys the field so far: 39:14

Movistar will be brutal today.

Movistar the 2014 TT powerhouse. Those Canyon bikes have some not so marginal gains in them

Watch Valverde destroying Martin and the rest.

quite long TT for a 6 day race with small climbs

Dependent on route, 25k is about right for País Vasco. There's normally a really punchy stage, a couple of reduced group stages, an Arrate MTF and then another GC-relevant stage. It's just that this year the Urdax stage was too easy (the Gasteiz stage was more like the normal 'group stage') and the Markina road stage was not hard enough, it didn't compare to its equivalents (2010 Orio stage with the double climb of Aia, 2012 rolling stage with the MTF at Ventas de Ibardín, 2013 Trapagaran uphill finish). Perhaps the Ordizia and Markina stages ought to have been the other way round? The Ordizia stage resembled the similar Beasain stage last year, the 2011 Zumarraga stage and was a bit harder than the 2010 Zierbena stage, however the Zierbena stage was raced extremely aggressively.

This year because the route has been comparatively soft (yesterday's stage was too easy to make big differences) the TT is going to decide the main body of the GC, like in 2011.

Ion Izagirre is arguably the most talented rider to come out of the Basque country in years, and with his cyclocross background, technical skills and all-round capabilities, his being really good in this is not exactly surprising.

Ion has always been very good at TT'ing. This parcours suits him. Lets see how he performs against the favorites.

As a side note i'm cheering for Valverde today so i hope Vuelta Andalucia 2.0 happens today.
