Much better route for the racing this year - with some time gaps from stage 3's finish which is on the border between HTF and MTF (a bit like Côte de la Croix-Neuve, slightly longer but not quite as steep) we should get some good racing on the stage 4 circuit.

Even when the parcours was bad, this is one of the best races to watch all year simply because the scenery is just amazing, more or less constantly.

It certainly looks like a good course for racing. At the moment, the race's internet site only has a list of teams and not riders, but who cares when the scenery is so great.

My attitude to this race is certain. I would like to start! :D ...really , those brutaly high 30's for 3 weeks are killing me
Seriously now, this race is always enjoyable, great part of the calendar, esp looking forward to the 3rd stage.

Can´t wait! I come from these parts. Starts in Harstad (The home ground of ARoN). Second stage goes over Gratangsfjellet - Historic area where epic battles took place during World War II in the winter of 1940 - only suiting then that the stage finale goes through a military camp at Setermoen.
Stage 3 is the one to watch - Fantastic scenery on the island of Senja with a finish up a ski-hill. I only wish the last stage in Narvik was a few km longer, but all in all ARoN should deliver again. At least as the heli-shots above the arctic sea and mountains rolls over the TV-screen with the odd reindeer or polar bear in the mix:)

What do you guys think about the little feud between Haller and EBH?

Haller in my opinion has the majority of the blame, he is disconnecting himself of the sprint to the left in a left turn? It was EBH sprint that he disrupted but it could be the sprint of anyone else.

I agree, but I think Kristoff was the strongest anyway.

Yeah, no doubts about that.

Nice and amazing race.

Thanks for the thread and presentation.

My favourite is Taaramae. the climb of the third stage have the same numbers that the stage of Pineda in Burgos, where jus Lopez, Scarponi and Dani Moreno beated him, and he was working.

Of course could be some people that could beat him there but some of them has lost time today.

The fight between the 2 norwegians, Kristtof and EBH, will be interesting in the rest.
