Why does Kirby keep talking up Tony Martin? Geez!!!

Cause after Nibali he is the strongest rider of the group (at least on paper).

Nah for some reason he seems to think Tony M can win.....not likely!

Nice to see Nibali back to bring some entertainment to a classic!
Trying to preemptively salvage his season? :p
Nah he was always a serious man towards the classics. Last season was a one off :)

A shame that Martin isn't fully committed to the breakaway, without him they just don't stand a chance. Kwiatkowski better win this.

Well, he's unlikely to win the Tour with everyone else fit, he won't do the Giro and the Worlds course isn't at all for him.

Gilbert is like Contador. When he boasts of strength it usually means he's not good and is hoping the others are too scared to attack him.

It's entirely possible that that's not the case this time round.

Why is Martin doing everything to kill the break? So Kwiat can get 6th?
Because he has no chance on the cauberg against Nibali.
It certainly didn't look like it on the last time up it....

Toughest race in The Netherlands, 100 man group before the final ascent. Never again should we get a WC.

All this uphill sprint hating. I love a good old uphill sprint finish.

Haven't you heard? Sprints suck, time trials suck and climbs suck unless someone attacks 450kms from the finish.

I hope Mollema isn't waiting for Schleck to bring him back to the front..... What's he doing at the back?

He was told to stick to a race winner's wheel, so he's on Cunego's.
(Seriously, he was on Cunego's wheel)

This is supposed to be a *** classic. Uphill sprints are fine as stages in stage races and GT's, but not too many, and they have FW anyway

Hey, at least we got a move that was some way meaningful before the final climb. When was the last time we had that in Flèche? That was Fabian Wegmann, wasn't it? That was 5-6 years ago now.

Negative racing sucks, which is what 95% of the peleton is keen on doing cause getting 12th place is more important than having a 5% chance of winning
