Terpstra makes it across quite quickly. A lot of very tired riders out there and they are not going that quick. Anyone prepared to make a big effort can make ground but very few have the energy to do so.

Etix does it again. Vandenbergh attacks when Stybar gets a flat; Thomas and Oss go with him and this could likely be the decisive move. WTF?? A tactical move or another ambitious move? Stybar was definitely one of the favorites and Vandenbergh was not.

I think OHN was planned but he was just not strong enough to follow Terpstra and this time it was his stupidity alone, cause he had his earpiece out when he attacked. But that is just speculation. I asked Lefevere on Twitter for a word on riders taking out their radio during races ... so far no response :D

great acrobatics from Thomas :p

He'll fall off if he's not careful.

So, what is the route direction/wind direction for the next 50k?

Roelandts is looking good, of course, but that could change so fast on a day like this. A normal ride's worth of food will not be enough to get to the finish; a TT mentality of pacing out 50k will be a 10+ minute difference in work time. Any little frustration can overwhelm a rider's mentality (Just look at Jack Bauers execution, and reaction to the jacket hand off)
Throwing the bike did get the jacket out though.

All this idiotic hate for Vandenbergh. Love the guy, he's literally ALWAYS there on the cobbles. Stybar on the other hand is a very annoying brat.

Are we sure the GPS is working fine?

I'm not sure. This seems a bit odd. 1 guy gaining on a group of 7.

Only about two of them were actually contributing in the group of seven though. Still, I wonder how much that effort will cost Terpstra.

New marginal gain: try some circus stunt to revive the boredom of the slowest escape ever (I know, wind, but Paolini and now Terpstra bridged 1:20 in no time)

G2 is definitely nog going at full steam if Roelandts can gain time and Terpstra can bridge that quickly. The 7 in G2 are so strong, and the wind is that hard, that I think the winner will come from there.

Well, he made what looks like the decisive move in the race when his team leader (with Cav out of contention), fastest finisher and most on-form rider had a puncture and was off the back. Pretty idiotic from the team's point of view.
