I hope Contador is getting a nice training ride, because if he's going all out just for revenge, he's an idiot. He doesn't need the GC time, and he's very unlikely to catch the break for a stage win.

Really, really, really don't understand everyone here praising him. Strategically, this appears to be a very dumb thing to do.

I'll eat some of my words if he wins the stage, but if he doesn't, this will come back to haunt him at the TDF. And right after he said every move had consequences.

Not really. Landa is going closer to his maximum, because he only needs to join the group in front of him to be towed to the line. Contador on the other hand is riding alone, i need of preserving som energy
