As Im doing my prediction right now, I'll answer youstaubsauger said:What kind of time trial has Visconti in his bag these days?
What about Kreuziger? We haven't seen much of him, but he is almost at the podium. Maybe he will be in the top 3 after the stage? I could see it be something like:LaFlorecita said:I predicted Contador to win in a game, so you better be rightKwibus said:Contador to win the TtAnyway, he will be top 5 at least
I think he aiming to be best the last week, and was heavier at the start at the giro than last year's Tour. So I'm guessing he'll be better in the mountains the coming week. This TT however, I really have no idea. I'd say the chances of him doing really well are rather slim. Romandie was a real up and down TT, hard to compare it with this one.Maaaaaaaarten said:I wonder how JVDB will do. His TT in Romandie was really good. So far he's raced attentively not loosing any time in the various difficult stages, but his climbing simply wasn't good enough on the real climbing stages. However, his climbing in Romandie was also mediocre, but then he went on to get 4th in the TT in a good field. Of course that TT was 17km and this one is 60km, so we'll have to see, but he might surprise, like he surprised in Romandie this year.

Tomorrow it depends on his plan for final week I think, if he wants to win a stage I think he will be out of top50, but if he wants to have a crack at GC I see a top20 for him.![]()

Catching Landa is nothing to brag about, he's an awesome climber but an abysmal TT rider.LaFlorecita said:At least, Landa is an even worse TTer than Aru, so I guess Alberto can catch him.
I know, I just meant it might be an advantage for Contador. If it was Aru in front of him, he might come close (within 30-60s) but not actually catch him.Mayomaniac said:Catching Landa is nothing to brag about, he's an awesome climber but an abysmal TT rider.LaFlorecita said:At least, Landa is an even worse TTer than Aru, so I guess Alberto can catch him.
Sciocco said:Uran will win stage and move to 2nd in the GC. Will be closer to Contador time wise and people will start to say he has a chance, but he will fail in the big mountains. Good for him to get a stage win though.
GC after ITT:
1. Contador
2. Uran
3. Cataldo (if he is allowed to put in a full effort)
Assuming the gaps between starts is three minutes, Contador will not catch Aru, but he will see him towards the end. So Aru will finish 2:45-2:55 down on Contador.
That will add to the surpriseMiburo said:Hugo Koblet said:Pirazzi to surprise!
Where has he been this whole giro?

To be Aru in the front will be an advantage, I am this time agree with you.
The wind will be tailwind at the time of the favourites in the flat part, and that is good as well for Contador. Aru, Rigo and Porte are better with hot, but this is not an advante for Contador, that is one of his abilities, to be good in any weather, so good for him.
With rain there are riders that gain posibilities, as Zakarin, Hesjedal, Intxausti, Amador,...

Where's Luke Durbridge been? I saw him mentioned for the TT. But yeah Contador/Uran/Porte are probably 2-4 after Zakarin.Miburo said:the sceptic said:about 6/1 on AC seems great value in this weak TT field
Yea i only think Uran can beat him here. I don't see any pure ITT and especially after 2 hard weeks
