i am not sure y everyone is thinking froome is going to do well here. he has been crap at itt since 2013 tdf - owned by "tiny climber" contador in every itt.

Dauphine 2014 stage 1 itt? Won 8 seconds ahead of Contador.

If Pinot can do this then what can Froome, AC and Lo Squalo do? Unless Pinot has monstrously improved his TT-ing since 2weeks ago.

Pinot's actually not a terrible time trialist compared to the other favorites. If you look at his results from this year he's roughly in the company of Quintana, Contador, and Nibali. Froome is really the only one of these guys who's consistently great against the watch.
I guess, but Pinot is still below Nibali, AC and Froome in fat TT's, ahead of NQ though.

Contador is closer to Froome, than Quintana is to Contador in terms of TT ability. Pinot is somewhere between Quintana and Contador, but his performance here is greater than he could have expected. Great start for him!

I just mute the TV now. P & P are getting 6 figure income doing this hence why they will never retire. ASO will never push them. They will leave on their own terms. Probably when they are mid 80's.

Rogers only +13 at intermediate. Keeps impressing me

I wouldn't mind seeing him take it easy on stages like this. He's got a lot of work to do over the next three weeks.

I think some of the guys like Majka, Kreuziger, Benatti, Sagan and Rodgers have been instructed to go full gas today and hang on at Huy, so they can get the best possible car position for the next few stages (especially cobble stage).

Contador and Nibali are definitely better than Pinot, not just roughly!

13km makes him look stronger than he is

Porte was once a young talent specialized in prologues and short TTs. Now he can't get a top 20. Interesting.

1’01 by Quintana is already a lot. I bet it will be between 45-60” with the other fabulous three
I will take under 45 seconds. Avatar bet?
??
If Quintana finishes less than 45 seconds down on all of the other big 3 I choose an avatar for you, if not you choose an avatar for me until end of the Tour?
Ok, done!
Cool :)
