Thanks - makes it hard for the likes of Evans, Porte etc - they need a good gap somewhere to gain enough to overcome sprinters that can limit losses on the climbs and gain bonuses in sprints.

I presume that Evans would have won last year had there not been so many time bonuses for Gerrans.
