Impey, luisle, and even lobato can take this if he is in good shape. Borbridge is very strong perhaps he can do a nice finish again.Haussler can also take a chance.

Breakaway may go all the way as the pack wont bother to bring it back once again unless there is some GC contender in the break.

Meersman or Haussler ftw.

Yep, pretty much Meersman. He is almost the lighter version of Sagan. Has all the same skills but not a single one as well developed. But for this stage it could be enough.

Regarding Bobridge, the biggest change in his training plan seems to be leaving Belkin. It's working just fine for now :D

You do realize that there are seven-man teams at this race?

Craddock led the field throughout the day and dropped back early (and finished last with over 10 minutes behind Bobridge). Geschke and Dumoulin were focusing on their GC prospects. That leaves Haga, Timmer and de Kort, with the latter needed for his leadout duties. Hard to control a break of TT machines like Westra and Durbridge with such a small team.

good to know so worried Craddock might have been hurt or injured

The Boom Boom train will leave the station and destroy the peloton. The casualties will be uncountable, and he will secure Astanas first victory of the season.

I'll say Impey or even Hepburn have a real chance today if the likes of Kittel and Wippert get dropped. Orica will want a stage win early, got to keep the home crowd happy.

Boom, Von Hoff, Haussler and Lobato are also in with a good chance.

I'm almost glad that the Tour Down Under organisers have decided against continually adding on laps of the Stirling circuit as it did not make the race more decisive. I'm hoping they just race the final lap really hard adding to the excitement of the race.

I've got to say, some of the crowd will be happy with OGE because Bobridge won. It's still a minority sport around here and people are a but naïve. Impey is a very good pick, and Kittel will get dropped. Wippert would be fantastic and I'll be cheering for him.

High pace in both the peloton and the break. Sky and IAM chasing hard. Should be a good stage if they continue to race hard in the final circuits.

3 man break including Cam Meyer has 3:30 with 78km to go. IAM and Sky on the front.

Isn't it beautiful not having to listen to Dave McKenzie and Mike Tomalaris? My ears can't take their rubbish anymore
