i feel that alberto doesn't like richie at all
he will let anyone else win but not him on montjuic. he will let even valverde !
it will be very hard for team sky in giro, alberto being liked to the moon by the likes of aru and other italians. a lot if alliances will be made.
anyway, crazy race. i never saw this happening, i still know jackshiit about cycling.
Alberto Conador is not petty and going around disliking people for no reason....He is not a contributor to this forum !!!...In fact one of his best qualities is his class as a person.....Yesterday was because Valverde wining was better for Contador for one and second he probably couldn't follow Valverde for two...(Valverde is a bit of an animal at present and he is going to ride RVV and he will be 35 in a few weeks ...emmm???)
After the stage into Gap in 2013 when Contador came off and then rode alongside Quintana and gesticulated to him for not waiting for him ( and Froome) Valverde went round to the TCS bus and remonstrated with Contador ...can't see why he should suddenly be his best friend now
These are professional cyclist and everything they do is about their own winning...not about 'liking' one above the other... And it will be the same in the Giro ...alliances will be for self gain only not because a bunch of Italians like one rider above another
You are transferring personal prejudices on to riders ...ridiculous
hmmm no,just no.
indurain was absolutely freaking class, the absolute class but still in 1994,luz ardiden stage if i'm not wrong, he went full mobster and chased by himself with some 150 km to go a breakaway because it contained de las cuevas, who once was his domestique but left him for another team. indurain chased the breakaway in maillot jaune like lance did with simeoni. mob shiit. retaliation, ice t great song.
personally, i'm no sky hater at all but everyone knows that many riders in the peloton don't like them, especially the
italians and eastern bloc.
we'll see in giro. all the best to richie and alberto
tomorrow montjuic will be great
