One day we'll see Froome, Martin & Zakarin all attacking together and it will be so ugly that cycling will never be broadcast for a public audience again

now, we know why Porte ignored the team order to work with Froome. He couldn't match contador. Might as well, use Froome to take time.

Didn't exactly expect Froome to beat Martin in a sprint. Pulled a fair few seconds clear of the rest through. Porte shows his weakness when it comes to multiple mountain stages.

Froome didn't look that good in that sprint.
I thought he looked really good. He held Martin's wheel for aboout 300m, despite Martin - one of the most explosive riders in the world on steep finishes like this - going flat out.

Put 15 seconds on Porte in 500m.

Contador regrets the attacks earlier. He would have distanced Froome et al if he saved his energy earlier

Bardet, what a loser, he'll never learn... Pinot was helping him and he blows him off only to lose out.

Pinot was helping him by being a leech the entire climb?

Mancebo's still riding, you know, still trying to climb in side-saddle.

Escartín can be the technique analyst.

According to many on Twitter, Froome followed Contadors attack near the top of Madeleine, that could explain a bit too.

Didn't put that much into a Contador who's already attacked twice and looked pretty bad. If Froome had the legs, he would've attacked as soon as Henao stopped.
