Reichenbach 17th! What a ride from the young man, surely now he should be looking to lead the team, because the talent is there and he's looking better than his leader pinot. What a rider. What a man.

It's a disappointing time actually ;)

Nothing that Reichenbach does or time he posts is disappointing. You must learn that, young jedi.

I think only Contador and Porte can beat this. Don't expect much from Aru or Landa.

Henao or Poels maybe too.

That's good time from Froome, I think it will be beat, certainly by AC, but I imagine barring bad luck, Froome's form over the Dauphine and particularly the Tour will be on an upwards trajectory.

Curious to see Contador. I predict 11:27.
wet or dry?

Dry

Doesnt change a lot if it rains, it's uphill all the way

It will lessen the difference but I'd still say there would be a few seconds difference uphill in the rain.

I don't understand why Contador et al decided to start late? Seems like a mistake. That said, the rain won't matter much. The strongest will likely win anyway.

11:34 could be the winning time and it's not a small margin to 11:49 considering the riders' level and point in the distribution of the times.
I mean, 15 seconds between 13:15 and 13:00 isn't as much as between sub 12 times.

Contador is a natural entertainer. He wants to put on a show on live tv.

Wet 20% sections will inevitably cause wheel slips.

This French website still says there'll only be 0.2mm of rain between 2 and 3. (I hope there's not another "Les Gets" in France  )

Probably because the weather forecast predicted rain all day.
