I am newly a member here...I am a fan of Sagan In San Jose CA and as the race started up the hill My COMCRAP Oooops Comcast modem decided to reboot on me and I missed the finish and only saw the 10 second or so replay of the end of the race.....UGH,

I have a question to ask about (not exact as there a differing opinions) the relative importance of the early one day classics. I know Sagan said when he was a kid he was very interested in the Paris-Roubaix (spelling YUK) and would like to know which ones I should keep track of when he races them. Is there an existing thread I could ask in or just use the Sagan thread?

Paris Roubaix
Ronde van Vlaanderen
Milano San Remo
Gent - Wevelgem
E3 Harelbeke
Strade Bianche

these are spring classics he usually rides. but you can just check his twitter/facebook account. he always posts there when he departs for race.

I take it that, that is the order of importance....Would most agree with the order of importance in general? That is from what you have read here and elsewhere would the order be near what most people think are the most important?

The top 3 yes I think most agree and probably the same for the last 3.

Great quality, thanks!

Gordon Fraser commentating (he mentioned finishing third in Philly when Ventoso won in 2004).

Ok cheers. Settled down a bit now.

Definitely the stream and not my internet as I checked on other videos and they were fine.

Kudos to cyclingnews for livestreaming the race.
I really wish American networks would put more effort into cycling broadcasts.
The commentary is cringe worthy.
You have one guy who knows cycling and just drones on and on about things cycling fans already know; then you have another who seems like a fish out of water and keeps saying "absolutely!"
God bless both of them, but it's awful to watch.
It doesn't take much effort or money to invest in a compelling broadcast that might draw newcomers into the sport.
Create a narrative--e.g. who is the random guy in the break? what's his story? Combine that with flashbacks in cycling history to ease the boredom of watching the inevitable demise of the breakaway.
I just heard one guy say, "It's still pretty windy out there, Gord."
Really?
That's just sad.

Lampre pulling with commitment.

Good to see for a change.

Sagan seemed to have struggled a bit.

Pro cycling live isn't loading... any other options?

Go to Cric tv and select Eurosport 2. Usual rules apply about closing windows and not downloading anything. Full screen will stop the pop ups after that.
