I can't see Kwiatkowski performing here, because he does not have the competitive kms in his legs compared to his main rivals. Should he top-5 here, that would be phenomenal - but I don't expect it really.

My guess is Sagan or GVA.

Voted for van Avermaet suprised he is not higher in poll

Same here. I think he should be favourite no.1 if you consider current form, race profile, weather and history (second last year).

Obviously, many around here are always voting for their favorite riders so you have to take these polls with a grain of salt.

I can imagine if Contador was part of this poll he would be leading even though he is not even participating in this race.

Stybar and GVA are the first tiers to me. Hopefully chaos reigns however and someone snatches a surprise victory

Not raining at the moment. Wind is pretty strong coming from the south: if it keeps up we're in for some crosswinds in the final 30-40 kms.

I suppose Adam Yates is not riding this after all :(

He'll be tomorrow at Larciano where he won last year. A quality line-up with Nibali, Uran, Visconti Ulissi.

The start of the race was just posted on the strade bianche twitter side.
The street seems to be a bit wet but definitely no heavy raining. The worst case scenario would be a bit of rain now and nothing later, so the dirt roads are dry again when the riders arrive there because then it will be neither dusty nor muddy.

Break:

Debusschere
Ligthart
Sergent
Van Asbroeck
Mrozek
Stacchiotti

Debusschere obviously most intresting name. Has a teammate aswell. He's also a true hardman that excels in bad weather.
