Nairo saved his energy to attack in this day. Expect a long-range shot tomorrow.

It might be an idea to consult a doctor - are you experiencing headaches?

The tactical geniuses in the Movistar team car just saw Sensei's post and are like "****! We've been found out! Quickly, draw up a new strategy!"

I think all the speculation about this stage will be more fun than the actual stage. Barring crosswinds or some Cat 3 heroics, that is.

I wish that one day somebody from ASO wake up to the idea that sometimes it is worth to start the show on the beginning of race, than have a 3 hours of break and start again.

No need of commentary, mottos and helicopter. Just some drones and gps chips and good software.

The present "le lour race center" absolutely sucks. Those gaps information shown during the mountain stage are ridiculous for technology that is available these days.

Will be interesting to see how Tinkoff play this - now that they have potentially five riders to fully support Sagan. They could try to shell the other sprinters on the Envalira and hold them off all day, but that would require absolutely brutal amount of work, because I can't see many other teams helping them. Probably will wait until that last bump and try to thin out the peloton there instead.

That really long descent to Tarascon is so straight and fast, that it's difficult to see a breakaway staying clear, even if they get about 10 minutes on the climb.

Do you really think there is a Tinkoff team? I have seen just some lone riders with jearses with Tinkoff, except RK + PS. Sorry I do not think they will help him except RK and maybe RM - but he will not help him because he wants, but just because he will go for premium - I mena first hill.

Chances for Kittel, Cav, and Greipel today?

Even if they are able to get back to the peloton, will they be able to get up that last kat 3 without spending too much? Will they loose too many positions to be able to sprint? Or is the descend enough to get them back and ready for sprint?
Could they just take it easy today, and save for tomorrow where they will have a big chance?

Who will work for getting the break back after the first kat1? Teams with Coq, Matt, Sagans? Lets pretend 1 or 2 of them have people in the break, will they ever get brought back then?

What do you guys think :)

The descent from Port D'Envilera is long - 40 mins should kill any gaps on the climb up. I can see only a sprinters conclusion. Coquard?

Late attacker(s) will win. If 1 or more riders crest that last climb with a 10 second gap they won't be brought back as the chase will be disorganised.

I kinda think it's 50-50 for the break - depends on its makeup but should be a strong group.

This should be a stage for EBH to target. Albasini and Costa long shots from the break.

It should, but he'll only be allowed to go for it if he gets into a big break without Sagan, else he won't be allowed to work due to the green jersey competition.
