Incidentally, I wanted to see how the wind speeds compare to Dublin where I live. We had a very windy winter this year and there were a lot of Gent-Wevelgem 2015 style commutes into work. You can pick a weather station at the Weather Underground website and get a csv of daily or hourly weather for a range of days. So this was the winter just gone in Dublin (bear in mind the west coast of Ireland is a lot windier):

Hence my disappointment at the lack of crosswinds when we had that Giro stage.

The amount of riders that spend so much on aerodynamics yet can't pin a bloody number on correctly never ceases to amaze me.

I think Froome puts 2 minutes on Quintana today, will have over a 2 minute lead at the end of the day, maybe 3.

Tour will be effectively over as a contest after today.

I think that changing wind conditions are going to decide this ITT.

Yeah but what is the wind going to change to, is it into a headwind? If so, early boys have better chance.

CP 2 has disappeared from my screen now.

Clearly it had smth wrong.
Sicard was the best timed rider in CP 2.

Agree. To bad that Contador crashed since afterall thats the duel everybody wanted and deserved. Now were left to not knowing and a rather boring tour with no challengers. Add to it all the controversials that has accured its not looking very good!

What I wanted to see was for Froome and Quintana to get the hammer so we could see a real race. Instead, the shenanigans will go on...

And Froome will probably win by 5 minutes, LOL.

Agree. To bad that Contador crashed since afterall thats what almost the entire cycle fans wanted to see that duel and which they deserved. Now were left to not know and a tour without excitment duo to no challengers.

I doubt Contador was any good to beat this Froome for two reasons:

1- The Dauphine
2- Oleg staying quiet on Twitter and not saying things like we know Kreuz numbers and he is climbing with the best bla bla bla.
