not bitter at all, just quoting the rules. i don't want him to get DQ (for the show's sake) but UCI have only 2 options imho: let it slide or dq+fine.

Didnt Carol quote a rule which would make the Dawg DQ for thinking he was Forest Gump?

So it's a disgrace then.

This entire Tour will be remember as a disgrace, sadly.

It is. Ugly Tour in all kinds of aspects.

And apart from that, with the horrible news yesterday, i bet a lot of people don't really care anymore about the outcome of this race.
People will care as much about the result of this Tour as they always do. The terror attack yesterday will have no influence on this.

What happened on yesterday stage and the list goes on, this tour has been a disgrace no matter how you look at it and, and ofcourse people will remember it for it.
I don't think it has been a disgrace by any means. The only really controvsersial thing that has happened was giving Froome and Porte same time as Mollema.

Edit: Yes, the incident at Mont Ventoux is probably what the Tour will be remembered for, but that doesn't mean that people don't care about the outcome of the race.

Movistar should sign this Oliveira fellow. Quintana could have used some one like him on the stage before last. ;)

I don't think it's possible to give a time penalty for violation like this. It's a fine or DQ and obviously he won't get DQ'ed.

For you and me, no. But for a bunch of French people, maybe. You don't know.

It's a cumulation of things ofcourse.

Rohan Dennis says that the light climbers are going to struggle with the amount of wind around.l and not to take a disk wheel, Doesn't bode well for the likes of Quintana ect.
Good for Mollema who used to bike to school for 20km on an old heavy bike and back every day through the open flats around Groningen :D

He was also good at the TT in 2013 with a lot of wind. Last evening during a short interview he also said he was looking really forward to the TT. He felt he was going to ride a very good TT.

A bunch of French people perhaps. But for 99.99%, tomorrow everything is back to normal and people in general will care as much about the Tour as they always do.

what's Tekle doing>?

84.LEMOINE C. COF in 31' 38'' at 5' 21''
85.TEKLEHAIMANOT D. DDD in 41' 08'' at 14' 51'

Did he take Froome's neutral bike?

Error? Point 3 time at point 2? It fits his point 1 time.

Seems logical. Racecenter doing crazy things again.

Yup. Finish:

32.TEKLEHAIMANOT D. DDD in 56' 35'' at 4' 49''

Lol they put the flag of Equatorial Guinea instead of the flag from Eritrea

If the organisers would be Americans then there would be so much hate from "superior Europeans" :D

I agree, looks like the slightly heavier climbers will naturally have an advantage here.

possibly. what has that to do with Nairo?

If you are so adament on the UCI adhering to the rules (which is the UCI we are talking about) then if Nairo goes, the Dawg should go. This is what a 10s video FFS, it tells you very little.

I will readily admit that's not something I'd catch.

I can barely keep the various 3 bars of color of half the European counties straight.
