So not massive gaps between most GC contenders. Aru perhaps the big loser, Mollema the winner.

Apart from Froome of course, who completely smashes everyone... again.

Actually no GC rider really disappointed. From Froome to Purito.

But it's sad that the biggest challenger for Froome in GC, loses 2 minutes.

Froome gets more hate than any other riders, despite the guy has done nothing wrong I suspect it comes from that the general cycle fan doesnt believe in miracles...

He doesnt deserve all this booing he gets tho the man has done nothing wrong so feel kinda bad for the man

The winds in the past 3 stages were Mother Nature's call to balance the race out.

E va bene cosi! (Cit. Marco Pantani after dominating in Maddona di Campiglio)

It's not Froomes fault that the host nation are incapable of winning a stage...minnows of cycling ;)

Game set and match. Nobody will catch Froome this year. He just needs to keep it upright and ride defensively now.

I will go with:

Dumoulin for stage

Gc boys:

Froome
Porte +23" +2:05"
TVG 49" +1:47"
Mollema 1:02" +51"
Valverde 1:05" +1:45"
Aru 1:13" +3:22"
Quintana 1:36" +2:05"
Bardet 2:40" +2:49"
Martin 2:46" +3:07"
Yates 3:13" +1:58"

I've put the hopefully accurate results in bold.

That's a pretty accurate day to do french bashing.

Nothing against Froome I think. It is just people prefer underdog teams. Sky is too rich, too greedy to have all the best riders in their team.
With their tactics and team strength it is almost impossible to beat Froome.

Even if we built the best possible team from riders outside the Sky now , they could still be very competitive.

That's easier said than done...just ask the Dutch fans :p
It's different for Froome. If he, or even one of his team-mates crash, the race is stopped on the spot.
