The other rides should be ashamed of themselves. Letting Froome ride away like that. He's not Bardet or Nibali or something. Simply no one wanted to put the effort into reeling him in

What the hell are Bora doing allowing Buchmann to ride for 30th on GC or something? His GC is over, he should be dropping time and trying to get in breaks on mountain days. Yet here he is pulling on the front of the Contador group, trying to limit his losses.

I didn't even know that you could do what Froome is doing now.

He invented something new.

Sagan, worlds 2015

Mohoric, 2013 worlds

Matej Mohoric won WC U-23 using this style. He actually "invented it" while competing with his mates in his home mountain village. Everyone was laughing at him. But a waste of energy? Obviously not.

nice win and good ride from froome but taking 22 second for such a effort can cost him much more tomorrow
Aru also defended himself good enough with alps still to race

Hopefully Contador now realizes that his GC aspirations are definitely over.

if he wants it, he can podium. No way he was dropped like that if it's not his injury. But as we know, he doesn't care unless no.1. So yeah.. you can say it's over.

He clearly is now. Admittedly not the most technical descent, but his technique was impeccable.
