Cannondale have chosen the wrong leader. Talansky was obviously stronger than Craddock today.

Looks like Talansky shouldn't have been working for Craddock today. He was obviously much stronger. You gotta wonder how he'd have done racing for himself rather than setting pace.

Great ride from Alaphilippe. No need to emphasize if the competition was there, if the win was deserved. Kirby was just being Kirby. Im just seing a young talent beating quite okay names : Talansky, Craddock, Sanchez and so on. There were far from being the best climbers around, but still pretty great. Glad for him after his winter.

He looked great but that seems a bit extreme. Wasn't Sagan 19 when he burst onto the scene?

Hopefully he can continue on this path. It should be fun to watch him develop over the next several years.

It's good to see Alaphillipe back on top of the AOTC. Last year he burst onto the scene so impressively in April and May; then he vanished for the rest of the year. So far this season has been a carbon copy of last year's. Here's hoping that this time his good form continues through the summer . . .
