Good racing.Quintana super strong. It looks like Froome will have to settle for a podium place.

Contador took Froome with him Balrog style... I can't win the Vuelta anymore ? Well at least you'll know I made you lose it too. Awesome.

Based on today's form, he might struggle even to do that. Chaves and Contador should be improving into the third week, while Froome should be getting worse. TT might still be enough to save him though.

when contador doesn't have a chance to win, he can decide "who are not going to win".. That's a fun position to be ..

There isn't much climbing left, though, is there? And I don't expect Contador to improve his form. Chaves surely will, but not enough to beat Froome for second place.

Chapeau Contador! Chapeau Quintana! A truly epic stage.

Also, the way Movi forced Sky to chase all day yesterday and Quintana worked over Froome up Aubisque were crucial to giving us this stage.

Stage of the decade! And without any rain or snow.

Wouldn't go that far. Fuente De, Andy on Galibier, Gardeccia?

But what a stage. Cycling at its best.

Shows how hard it is to win 2 GTs in a year. If Froome had skipped the olympics, maybe...

I think he's lost too much time to recover, but who knows? Stage 20 could produce huge gaps.

Great stage and great Quintana/Bertie. I dont hate Dawg at all but I'm delighted to see the wheels fall off the Sky wagon this time.
