Good on Talansky. I have a hard time with Cannondale in general, I don't really like Vaughters and the likes, but its nice to see them finally win on a WT-stage. Maybe TJ's cracking in Italy inspired him to grab the spot as the leading stage racer of the States. Lmao.

Is the MTF worth watching? Wondering if I should watch it before the TT on such an evenfull friday evening.
It wasn't a great MTF.

It's better than the early parts of a TT anyway. It was good in the sense that action happened earlyish. It was mediocre in the sense that the principals were too evenly matched to shed each other.

I think it's worth watching. I thought it was quite entertaining. That said, I used to ride those roads all the time so I'm sure that helped my enjoyment. Anyway, there were several attacks, even if very few stuck.

Who's the best tt'er of the top 3, Boswell? Any chance one of those three maintains in lead over Talansky?

Edith meant the Pitbull!

Talansky turned at the halfway intermediate split in approximately 14.53 if my calculated timing is correct. Sagan was there at 14.45 to give a reference.

Majka's intermediate time was 15:10, so 17 seconds off Talansky, but Bookwalter must have been quicker than Talansky already at that point

Well, that was a surprise. Maybe we could have discussed his 10th place in the Pais Vasco time trial more, but still.
