What a great race already! Quickstep have played this beautifully; so many options now, however the race pans out.

Don't agree. Stybar and Terpstra have had a complete free ride - either could easily win this. Boonen and Trentin can now sit on and recover for the next 20km or so. Getting such numbers in the finale means a job very well done from them.

As much as I love Gilberts move, I don't think Quick Steps tactics were clever. Had Gilbert only pulled the break up the Kwaremont, their advantage on the peloton would have increased and Gilbert easily could have dropped everyone later in the race. But now he has to make a 55 kilometer solo and he is probably the only QS rider who is left that could win the race.
