This really looks like its over. Unbelievable

There are 10 kms of flat between Taaienberg and Kruisberg. The big group can catch Phil there. If not, then on the flat between Kruisberg and Kwaremont.

Yeah, there also was a flat section between the Koppenberg and the Mariaborrestraat and Gilbert expanded his advantage there. The problem is that there aren't enough domestiques in the chase group and they aren't working together.

Now Sagan, Naesen and GVA attack. Their job is very hard to do since as you say Phil still expanded his advantage there.
