I hope it turns out this was GVA/Sagan's own fault. Would be a shame if it was a spectator that ruined the race.

Sagan has no business being so close to the barriers.

And sagan wasn't getting any closer to gilbert anyway.

Sagan? I'd bet the farm the entire start list did it at some/every point in the race that included cobbles.

Gilbert just rode the greatest classics ride in many years, comparable to Boonen's. Perhaps better? I couldn't say, I think only riders of both races would know.

What a great win this will be for Gilbert. No way Sagan and GVA would have caught him anyway, even if Sagan wouldn't have carelessly brought down the three chaser.

Im not sure Gilbert wouldve won without the crash. GVA lost at least 10 seconds to the crash, and more seconds lost to the absence of Sagan and Naessen from the group
