Kiryienka.

One of the top at intermediate for sure.. Not at the top of the hill :D.

I still havent gotten it confirmed if Chris Froome is racing, would be his only chance to win WOrlds in Time Trial ever.. Anyone got any news?

Froome could win this if it was only 3km uphill or 20km uphill like in TDF 2016.

This is more like Montefalco but with a tougher hill at the end. Perfect for Tom, unless he is in some kind of off day.
Just an example:

http://cqranking.com/men/asp/gen/race.asp?raceid=27399

Now this was a 18km hilly time trial with the freaking Alto de Aia at the end, a steep murderous ramp with double digits going over 20% at some points. Still Dumoulin won, and at the first intermediate on the flat he was actually not even in the top 5. He won most of his time...on the hill.

A focused Dumoulin looks unbeatable with this profile.
The only threat I could see for him would be a magical Froomey performance. Could happen, since apparently recovery is not a problem that concerns him anymore

He is not starting in ITT

He would have done better than BOdnar.. Strange.

Don't know... bodnar won the time trial in the tour

However, Dumoulin vs Bodnar head to head in ITT, were 1 or both are in the top 10 is 11/14 for Dumoulin (79%). So a 1 out of 5 chance for Bodnar. Though he beat Dumoulin last year in the worlds ITT and in the ENECO tour. However the latter one was a short ITT and the Worlds Dumoulin was out of good shape. (peaked at giro, tour and olympics already)

Re: 2017 Worlds BERGEN, NORWAY, ITT Wednesday 20 Sept

Its almost impossible to imagine Froome carrying topform all the way to the wc itt, but its Froome so anything is possible.

This tt is perfect for Dennis as well as it's 30km, he usually doesnt like the very long ones.
He's also very strong at lumpy profiles.

Dumoulin is the obvious favourite, but hasnt shown good form at a WC itt so far. So its pretty open if you ask e.

Poland has 2 spots (Bialoblocki is in now also it seems), so if Kwiatkowski is not starting its because he will focus 100% on the Road Race besides the TTT. Too bad as he would have had a serious chance of a medal on this course, but ofcourse so will he in the Road Race.

Edvald BOasson Hagen will race the ITT and also focus 100 percent on the RR.. Some say a race 4 days before the RR is a good thing , some dont .. We will see..

But this is the first time since 2014, when he was 23, that he actually perfectly prepared for the worlds ITT specifically.

In 2015 he suddenly rode GC Vuelta. In 2016 he had already peaked 3 times. A 4th peak wasn't within reach
