You could in a way say Lotto Visma opened this can of worms yesterday by letting so many riders gain so much time

So If you are Bilbao or Izagirre or Gallopin you are going to try the same today

IF Lotto had kept the break very near yesterday then it may not have kicked off so today

Yeah, I think a lot of riders are now thinking that, with the main contenders so far back, and a guy who's unlikely to win in Pink, the chase is going to be a mess and it's a good time to try and grab time.

Bahrain Merida and UAE are cooked.... Do MTS and Jumbo-Visma feel any pressure to close the gap a little?

Jumbo are already down 1 guy now. Maybe that was also the reason they didn't want to chase to hard yesterday, because Laurens De Plus was ill and they wanted to see if he can hold on.

Is Laurens De Plus going to the Tour de France for Jumbo-Visma? Kruijswijk, Martin, Roglic, Bennett, De Plus, Groenewegen, Teunissen and Gesink?

I think Groenewegen will get Jansen and Roosen with him.
Ah, I forgot Jansen. Roosen is out with some serious injuries I think. Teunissen is Dylan's last guy (@Dunkirk)
